As a Centre for Teaching Excellence (CTE) Faculty Liaison, Richard Li supports instructors in the Faculty of Engineering with teaching strategies, learning activities, course design, assessment methods, instructional innovations, as well as effective integration of educational technologies. He also serves as a guide for instructors to access other CTE resources.

Prior to joining the CTE as a Faculty Liaison, Richard has previously worked at the University of Waterloo as a TA Workshop Facilitator at the CTE, Peer Success Coach at the Student Success Office, and GRADventure Specialist with Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Affairs. Richard has a MEng and BEng in Geosciences and Geological Engineering, in addition to a BA in English. In his spare time, Richard enjoys doing yoga and photography. He is a yoga instructor at the University of Waterloo’s Department of Athletics and Recreation. He is also an amateur photographer in the Waterloo Region.
