Description: Online quizzes have many uses ranging from providing an incentive to your students to prepare in advance for class to testing students' understanding of course concepts throughout the term or on midterm and final exams. In this hands-on session we will explore the Quiz tool available in LEARN. Participants will have the opportunity to create a quiz and explore the tool's grading options.
Learning Outcomes: After the session, participants will be able to:
- Identify a variety of reasons for using online quizzes
- Have an awareness of the value of feedback to enhance student learning
- Develop their own quizzes in LEARN
- Grade and re-grade quizzes in LEARN
Note: Part of this workshop will be hands on: participants should bring a laptop PC.
