Description: This session will focus on working with the gradebook and associated gradebook items, including:
- understanding the different grading systems
- creating an appropriate gradebook structure
- entering grades by users, groups or grade items
- final versus adjusted final grade
- optimal grades tool settings for large courses
- using the formula editor
- importing and exporting grades, including transferring marks to Quest
Learning Outcomes: After the session, participants will be able to:
- create a Gradebook in LEARN in their course
- enter grades into that gradebook manually and through the grade import tool
- export final grades to Quest at the end of term
Note: Part of this workshop will be hands on: participants should bring a laptop PC.
