How to prepare for the February 4 Job Fair
This job fair works a little differently than in the past. Please follow the steps below to ensure your day runs smoothly.
Step 1. Register in advance
Registering for the P4E Job Fair is highly recommended. Registration helps us manage capacity and reduce wait times.
Step 2. Check in at the Tatham Centre first
Before heading to the buses, check in inside the Tatham Centre (TC) main lobby. Arrivals at the fair that have not checked in at TC may experience a longer wait time to enter.
Step 3. Take the complimentary shuttle bus
Free shuttle buses will run between campus and Bingemans Conference Centre.
-
Service runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
-
Buses arrive approximately every 45 minutes
-
Expect reduced service between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m.
Bus pickup location:
Ring Road, in front of Humanities Theatre
Step 4. Research employers before you go
A little prep goes a long way.
-
Review the list of attending employers on the P4E website
-
Identify which employers you want to speak with
-
Check the event floor plan once it’s released on the P4E website (a few days before the fair)
Step 5. Plan your time wisely
To ensure fair access for all students, please plan a shorter visit.
-
Limit your time at the fair to no more than two hours. Rooms reach capacity quickly. Shorter visits allow more students to attend.
