Geography and Aviation admission requirements for Indian system high school students
Program requirements
- Standard XII English and Standard XII Mathematics or Standard XII Applied Mathematics, minimum final grade of 70% in each.
- Strongly recommended: one of Standard XII Physical or Environmental Science.
- Overall mid-80s in Standard XII.
The Admission Information Form is required for admission. We'll email you detailed instructions once we receive your application.
The Aviation Language Proficiency Demonstration (ALPD) is also required for Permanent Residents of Canada and for international students.
General requirements
First or Second Division standing in one of the following.- All India Senior School Certificate awarded by CBSE.
- Indian School Certificate awarded by CISCE.
- Other pre-university certificate awarded after 12 years of academic studies.
Notes
- If your first language is not English, you may need to meet our English language requirements.
- Qualified applicants will be asked to complete a screening process by the Waterloo-Wellington Flight Centre that includes
- a program briefing session,
- Transport Canada Category 1 Medical Certification, and
- an Aviation Language Proficiency Test (for Permanent Residents and visa students only.)
- The medical certification must be completed prior to writing the test.
Admitted students
If you receive an offer of admission, you should book a medical fitness appointment with an approved Civil Aviation Medical Examiner as soon as possible. You should not accept your Offer of Admission until you have the results of your medical exam since results could be disqualify you from flight training.
