Science and Aviation admission requirements for British System (A Levels) high school students

Program requirements

A Level Mathematics, minimum final grade of B. Two of Biology, Chemistry, or Physics (one must be at the level A Level), minimum final grade of B. One other academic A Level, minimum final grade of B. GCSE-level English, minimum final grade of B/5.

The Admission Information Form is required for admission. We'll email you detailed instructions once we receive your application.

The Aviation Language Proficiency Demonstration (ALPD) is also required for Permanent Residents of Canada and for international students.

General requirements

  • General Certificate of Secondary Education or equivalent
  • Passes in at least five unique subjects, three of which must be at the Advanced Level
  • GCSE-level English as a Second language is accepted if an acceptable English language proficiency test is submitted directly from the testing centre.
  • IGCSE and GCE (O-level) courses are assessed as equivalent for programs that require courses at the GCSE level.

Admitted students

If you receive an offer of admission, you should book a medical fitness appointment with an approved Civil Aviation Medical Examiner as soon as possible. You should not accept your Offer of Admission until you have the results of your medical exam since results could be disqualify you from flight training.
