If you've applied for admission and haven't heard back from us yet, hang in there! We will be sending more offers of admissions over the next few weeks.
For many programs, we wait for second semester midterm grades to better understand and compare the qualifications of students who have applied for admission this year. We'll receive these grades in late April.
We'll have all offers of admission for high school students sent by mid-May.
How will you know if you’ve been admitted?
- We'll email you that a decision has been made about your application.
- Your Offer of Admission will be posted to your Waterloo applicant portal. If you're an international student, you’ll be able to download a Letter of Acceptance if you need that for your study permit application.
- Your Ontario Universities’ Application Centre account will list programs you've received an offer of admission for.
Residence
If you plan to live in residence for first year, you have until midnight on June 8 to apply and pay your residence deposit. All first-year students are guaranteed a spot in an on-campus residence. Your grades or when you apply for residence do not affect your residence status.
