Incentive rules and regulations
Individuals who join the University of Waterloo mailing list for future undergraduate students will be entered into a weekly draw for a University of Waterloo hoodie. The value of the prize awarded for this daily contest is $25 per day in Canadian funds.
Eligibility
To be included in the draw you can complete the request information form and select the checkbox to be included in the hoodie weekly draw. Winners are limited to individuals who reside in Canada. Prizes are limited to one per individual.
Winner selection
The winners of the hoodie will be selected in a random draw from eligible entries. Your odds of winning will depend on the number of individuals that enter into the draw. The selected entrant will be contacted by a Waterloo Undergrad Recruitment Specialist within 14 business days of the draw by email.
Winners will need to provide a mailing address and size information to be eligible for the prize. Available sizes are limited and will be available on a first come, first served basis. Please note that before being awarded the prize, the selected entrant must correctly answer a time-limited skill-testing mathematical question. The question will be sent by email to the selected entrant’s preferred email address.
Notes
- The University of Waterloo is not responsible for any incomplete, failed or delayed transmission of your submission due to the internet, including interruption or delays caused by equipment or software malfunction or other technical difficulties.
- The University of Waterloo reserves the right to disqualify any entry not conforming to these Rules and Regulations at any time.
- The University of Waterloo assumes no responsibility for entry fraud committed by entrant and reserves the right to demand return of the prize and all costs associated with remedying any prize awarded to an ineligible entry or entrant.
- The award amount is taxable if the winner is a full-time employee of Waterloo or registered Waterloo student. It is your responsibility to report the amount received for income tax purposes.

Draw participation
Participation in this draw is completely voluntary. You may choose not to participate in the draw. Entrants acknowledge that hoodie may be fulfilled by third parties and consent to the disclosure of personal information to such third parties for the limited purpose of fulfilling delivery of the hoodie.
Use of personal information
By completing the request for information form you are requesting information from the University of Waterloo. You may unsubscribe at any time. Contact information will be maintained by Marketing and Undergraduate Recruitment and you may contact the form administrator at any time for information regarding privacy and usage.
