The Human Resource office will be closed on Monday, December 2nd from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. for a full staff meeting. The HR reception desk will be closed during this time. Normal operations will resume at 10:30 a.m.

The University of Waterloo has achieved Gold certification in Excellence Canada's Excellence, Innovation and Wellness (EIW) program, which recognizes the University for its exceptional organizational and workplace practices.
For the second year in a row, the University of Waterloo has received a Canada’s Best Diversity Employer award. In early March, representatives from Human Resources, Organizational & Human Development and the Equity Office accepted the award at a ceremony in Toronto.
For the third year in a row, the University of Waterloo was recognized as one of Canada's Top 100 Employers (2019) and Waterloo Area's Top Employers (2019). The recipients of the national annual award were announced in The Globe and Mail on November 9th. The University was recognized for striving to be not only one of the most innovative universities in the world, but also one of the most employee-focused.
On October 16th, Human Resources, in partnership with St. Jerome’s University hosted the next in a 2018 series of Lean workshops: Personal Kanban, Mapping your work through Lean.
