GSC Everywhere

GreenShield will be launching a new app, GreenShield+, a first-of-its-kind integrated solution to support a better health care and benefits experience. We look forward to sharing this new user experience with you. 

GSC everywhere allows you to: 

  • Sign up for claim payments to be securely deposited directly into your bank account 
  • Submit claims online and skip the mailing time 

  • Upload claim forms, receipts, and supporting documentation for all types of claims 

  • Check your coverage to find out how much you’ll be reimbursed for a claim before you visit your health provider 

  • Find a GSC-vetted health provider in your area that will submit claims to GSC on your behalf 

  • Check the Pharmacy Quality Rating for pharmacies in your community 

  • Access your personal claims information, including a breakdown of how your claims were processed 

  • Print personalized claim forms and replacement Benefit ID cards 

  • View your benefit booklet for coverage details 

  • Print personal benefits statements for when you need to coordinate benefits or conveniently print a statement with one full years’ worth of claims  

  • Earn points and bid on rewards through our interactive Change4Life®health management portal 

How to Register

Watch GSC’s YouTube video on how to register, or follow the steps below.

  1. Visit gsceverywhere.ca with your GSC Benefit ID card handy.
  2. Under the green “log in” button, click on “Register your account.”

  3. Enter your member ID number (found on your benefit ID card) and then your date of birth. Remember that WTL must be in all caps.

  4. You’ll then be asked to confirm the number of other people – dependents – on your plan (if you are the only person on your plan, you can enter “0”). Then, in the next field, enter the birthdate of any one of those dependents.

Mobile App

  • The GSC everywhere app offers the same ease and convenience of the GSC everywhere site and optimizes it for your smartphone or tablet. That means quick and easy access to your benefits plan information – anytime, anywhere, 24/7.

  • All you need to do to get started with the app is register for GSC everywhere using your Member ID number. Then, use those same login details to sign in to the app.

How to sign up for direct deposit

To have claims payments deposited directly into your bank account, log in to your GSCeverywhere account and:

  1. Click on your name in the top-right corner, and select, “Your GSC Account.”
  2. On the “Your GSC Account” page, select “Payments” from the top menu, and click on “Direct Deposit.”

  3. Enter your bank account information.

  4. Check the box at the bottom of the page to authorize the direct deposit of funds into your account, and to confirm that you will receive electronic statements.

How to submit a claim

GSC everywhere puts quick and easy claim processing at your fingertips – once you’ve signed up for direct deposit, you can submit claims whenever you want, wherever you are. Submitting claims is just a click away with real-time adjudication, so you know immediately how much your plan covers.

  1. Once registered for GSC everywhere, select “Submit a Claim” from the menu.
  2. Select the type of claim you are submitting.

  3. Enter your claim details, upload your documents if required, and click Submit.

Note: If your spouse also has coverage with GSC, you can coordinate your claim with the other GSC plan right at the time of online submission.

For claims adjudicated instantly: A confirmation page will display, showing your exact claim adjudication results. We encourage you to print a copy for your records. If you are selected for an audit, you will have to submit supporting claim documentation within a set timeframe to get your claim paid and to avoid potential suspension of access to this feature. Your supporting documentation can be uploaded online right from the audit notification (maintain your supporting documentation for at least 12 months from the date the expense was incurred).

For claims that cannot be adjudicated instantly (require the upload of documents): A confirmation email will be sent to you, letting you know GSC has received your claim and when you can expect it to be processed. You’ll be able to track it through the adjudication process on the “Claims History” page.

Look up healthcare providers in your area

With GSC’s Find a Health Provider tool on the GSC everywhere website and mobile app, finding a nearby pharmacy, dental, paramedical is within a few clicks. The Health Provider tool will provide a list of providers that are close by. Additionally, GSC provides a star rating for pharmacies and, for other services, and only lists GSC vetted health care providers.

GSC's Drug Search Tool

  • You can look up coverage information about a specific drug using the Drug Coverage Search on the GSC everywhere website. You can also search your coverage on the GSC everywhere mobile app.
  • You will be able to find out:

  • Whether a drug is covered under your drug plan

  • If you will need to pay a co-payment (and if so, how much)

  • If the drug needs a physician’s authorization (and if so, whether your doctor can print the authorization form directly

How to access your GSC benefit booklet

You can access your GSC benefit booklet through the GSC everywhere webpage or through the mobile app.

Steps on how to access your GSC benefit booklet:

  1. Log into your GSC everywhere account
  2. Navigate to Your GSC Account by clicking on the dropdown arrow beside your name in the top right-hand corner
  3. Select Your Coverage tab
  4. Click on Benefit Booklet
