The Faculty of Arts is very proud to share that Dr. Sara A. Hart will hold the Canada Excellence Research Chair (CERC) in Developmental Science, based in the Department of Psychology. Hart is an expert in developmental psychology who is at the forefront of using precision education to understand how and why some children struggle to learn to read and do math.

Bead the Tract

As part of the Fine Arts Open House, everyone is invited to join a special presentation by Longhouse Labs Fellow's Protect the Tract Artists Collective. The artists will be facilitating a show and tell workshop about Haudenosaunee beadwork hosted by Tuscarora artist Gadaihongwas and Mohawk artist Kahionwinehshon. There will be demonstrations, learning, and refreshments.

She Kills Monsters

The Theatre and Performance program's fall show, She Kills Monsters by Qui Nguyen, tells the story of Agnes Evans who, following the death of her teenage sister, Tilly, discovers Tilly’s Dungeons & Dragons notebook. Curious, she recruits an avid D&D player to guide her through this unknown world. She finds herself catapulted into a journey of discovery and action-packed adventure in the imaginary world that was her sister’s refuge.
