Please join us on April 4th at the Stratford School for an exciting learning experience and help celebrate the success of our 2024 GBDA graduating class!
The 4th year GBDA Capstone Design class participants will be displaying their projects that look at closing the gender gap in mental health care. You will have the chance to interact with the students and hear first-hand how they approached the design challenge and see what they created.
This GBDA capstone course it is designed to bring together all the knowledge, skills, and experiences that our students have learned over their entire time in the program, including, among other things, identifying a market gap and functioning as a (corporate) entrepreneurial team, in which the students will develop a product or service and rationalize the iterative nature of its development, designing prototypes, testing, and finally developing the commercial viability. Specifically, students will analyze markets, customers, and consumers, in order to design and create digital products or services, to suit specific cultures or communities.
Working with their industry partner, Sun Life, students will map the current care journey of those individuals experiencing mental health care navigation and chronic condition management, conduct research to develop a deep understanding of the pain points and obstacles preventing women from receiving care, and design a new digital product or service that addresses these pain points while providing an improved care experience.
Drop in any time between 2 to 4 p.m. to see the projects. Stay for the 4 p.m. Grad Class Send-Off celebration to cheer on our newest GBDA alumni!
Please RSVP via email if you plan to attend. We look forward to seeing you!
