Please note the University of Waterloo will be closed from December 24, 2025 and will reopen on January 5, 2026.
During this time, the waitlist will remain open and submissions completed during the holiday closure will be reviewed when the office reopens in the new year.
Please read before you submit your request.
- If you received an error message when trying to enrol yourself, please check the following:
- Course descriptions to see if you meet all the required prerequisites (including academic year level) and haven't taken the anti-requisites.
- the Schedule of Classes to see if you meet the reserve statement or have a time conflict, or to see if the course/section is full.
- ARBUS 200, ARBUS 300, ARBUS 400 can not be taken concurrently. Students must successfully complete the prerequisite course before enrolling in the next.
- We do not override enrolment capacity in ARBUS courses.
- Complete a separate waiting list request for each course and section you wish to be considered for. Be sure to fill in every required field as we can process incomplete submissions.
- Please do not submit duplicate requests; doing so does not increase your chance to be enrolled in the course, and it slows down the enrolment process.
- A wait list submission does not guarantee you will be enrolled in your course of choice.
- If you have submitted a waiting list request and no longer wish to be considered for the course, please email arbus@uwaterloo.ca to have your name removed.
