Description
This workshop is a condensed version of our two half-day Assessment Redesign and Generative Artificial Intelligence workshop. It is designed for instructors who want to explore how Generative AI is affecting their assessment design and reflect on the opportunities, challenges, and trade-offs that arise when AI tools are available to students. Through examples, structured activities, and discussion with colleagues, participants will examine how GenAI intersects with their own assessment goals and consider possible approaches for responding.
While the full workshop guides participants through a comprehensive assessment redesign process, this 2-hour version focuses on generating ideas, exploring options, and receiving peer feedback on an existing assessment or assessment redesign ideas. Participants should bring an assessment they would like to begin redesigning during the session. Those interested in a deeper redesign experience may wish to attend the full two half-day workshop in the future.

Cancellations
Many of our workshops have waiting lists, so if you've registered but can't attend, please cancel your registration well in advance through the registration system, so that someone else can fill your spot.
