Panel with GenAI Teaching and Learning Fellows (CTE7565)

Tuesday, October 13, 2026 11:00 am - 12:00 pm EDT (GMT -04:00)

Location: In-person, LIB 329 Ed Tech Sandbox

Facilitators: Kyle Scholz

Description

Waterloo’s GenAI Teaching Enablement Project supports thoughtful, appropriate, and responsible uses of generative AI in teaching and learning. As part of this broader initiative, the Teaching and Learning AI Fellowships support faculty-led projects that develop, pilot, and evaluate new AI applications in authentic teaching and learning contexts. These projects help generate examples and emerging practices that can inform future GenAI-enabled teaching across campus. This panel will bring together the Fellows behind these initiatives to discuss what they are building, lessons learned, and future opportunities for these AI innovations to impact teaching and learning at Waterloo.
