Location: In-person (MC 2036)
Facilitator: Rodrigo Curty Pereira (CTE)

Workshop description

This workshop seeks to answer the question “How can TAs/instructors practice critical allyship with undergraduate students at the University of Waterloo?” We will explore concepts of structural inequities, privilege, bias, and critical allyship, and how to utilize them to create more inclusive classrooms. Participants will engage in active learning activities promoting personal reflection and group debates that can inform their teaching and equip them to practice critical allyship in a diverse environment such as the University of Waterloo.

This session will take place on the Waterloo campus in room MC-2036.
