Description
Part of the EdTech Sandbox series, this introductory workshop helps instructors build confidence using ViewBoard Interactive displays. Participants will explore touch, pen, erase, whiteboard/annotation, casting, and collaboration tools, and connect these skills to active learning. They will also learn ways to support collaboration, formative assessment, multimodal teaching, and student-generated content.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll be prepared to use the technology confidently and integrate it intentionally into learner-centered course design.
- Use key ViewBoard features, including device connection, annotation tools, and basic system controls.
- Create active learning activities that meaningfully incorporate ViewBoard tools to support student engagement and participation.
- Apply effective classroom management strategies for technology‑enabled active learning.
- Evaluate your teaching practices and adapt your teaching strategies to align with emerging technology

Many of our workshops have waiting lists, so if you've registered but can't attend, please cancel your registration well in advance through the registration system, so that someone else can fill your spot.
