Writing Cases (CTE723)

Wednesday, October 12, 2016 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm EDT (GMT -04:00)

Location: EV1-241         Notes: Open to faculty and staff (registration is required)

Using case studies can help provide students experience with real-world problems that may have no "right" answer. Writing your own case can allow you to use case-based learning to address specific needs in your course.

The workshop will introduce participants to the process of writing cases. Participants will begin to work through some of the steps in the case writing process using examples and group discussions. The workshop is designed for those who are new to case writing, as well as those who have some experience but want to improve their case writing effectiveness.

If you have no experience with case-based learning, we recommend that you attend the workshop on Teaching with Cases first.
