Co-operative education is synonymous with the University of Waterloo. It’s one of the innovations that the University was founded on nearly 60 years ago. Today, our incomparable co-operative education program is the reason 70% of incoming undergraduate students choose Waterloo.

    Students want to know how their co-op fee is spent.

    In July 2017, a project team was officially established to take a deeper look at the co-op fee (we're calling it a co-op fee "deep dive"). One of the project goals is to increase transparency around how the co-op fee funds are spent. This week, the project team launched a digital space for students to engage with for project clarity and updates.

    Co-op students who consider travelling for their work terms often picture themselves in a warm and sunny location. That wasn’t the case for University of Waterloo Biology alumnus Andrew Vermeer (BSc ’12), who decided to venture up to Nunavut’s Baffin Island.

    Looking for a spring 2018 co-op job? WaterlooWorks has early jobs posted on the "Co-op" job board. These jobs may appear before January 15th and/or may expire prior to January 23rd. A special note will be included in the job posting for any jobs that do not follow our standard timelines.

  1. Feb. 7, 2018P4E Job Fair 2018

    Partnerships for Employment (P4E) is a partnership between the University of Waterloo, Wilfrid Laurier University, University of Guelph and Conestoga College. P4E hosts two events per year: a Job Fair (first Wednesday in February, annually), and a Career Fair (last Wednesday in September, annually).
