Session Overview

Take a break, boost your brain, and connect with colleagues in this playful, drop-in puzzling session over lunch! Whether you’re racing the clock at a speed-puzzling table or enjoying the calm of a 1000-piece challenge, you’ll experience the surprising stress-relieving power of leisure and mindfulness.

This low-pressure, welcoming space is designed to spark conversation, build community, and offer a refreshing mental reset in the middle of your day. Come for a few minutes or stay the whole time—challenge yourself, meet fellow puzzle enthusiasts, and piece together a little joy.

About the Facilitator

Sandy Wong Manager, Residence Learning (Student Success Office)

Sandy has loved jigsaw puzzles since childhood, a passion that grew into competitive speed puzzling. She recently placed 17th out of 221 in the 2025 Canadian National Jigsaw Puzzle Competition. After training through a “Build Your Edge” puzzle bootcamp, she continues to refine her skills with a goal of reaching the top 15 in 2026. Sandy also enjoys connecting with fellow puzzlers and building community around this engaging hobby.
