Workshop Overview

We often hear people say “take care of yourself.” What does this really mean? This one-hour virtual session will increase participants’ awareness and understanding of self-care and highlight the factors that can promote and preserve their health and well-being – now and always. Participants will gain practical tools and resources to activate their own personal self-care practice.

About The Presenter (Facilitator)

As a Registered Social Worker with a Master's degree in Social Work, Alysia Davies practices specialized counselling and therapy for a variety of audiences. Additionally, she provides mental health support for Homewood clients through the Employee and Family Assistance, Depression Care, and Trauma Care Programs. 

Alysia focuses on a range of concerns including workplace stress and mental health, career transitions, work-life balance, professional confidence, self-esteem, family conflict and many mental health concerns.
