Workshop Overview

This will be an introductory workshop, providing participants with the knowledge to start growing plants from seed and to identify the necessary resources to do this successfully. This workshop will take you through the planting steps, whether indoors or out, and provide additional information on how to optimize germination and transplant seedlings successfully. Spots are limited! 

Preparation/Pre-requisites

No previous skill (or perceived skill) required! All necessary materials will be provided to participants.

Monica Vesely, Lead, Educational Developer - Curricular Integration, Centre for Work-Integrated Learning 

Monica Vesely is a higher education professional focusing on the facilitation of learning and the incorporation of lifelong learning skills. Monica completed her undergraduate and graduate degrees in biochemistry and taught for many years before taking on the challenge of educational development. She currently leads the educational development and curriculum integration efforts of the Centre for Work-Integrated Learning at the University of Waterloo.
