Orientation Overview

Are you new to your employment journey at the University of Waterloo? As with any new experience, it can be overwhelming to take in all there is to know, learn, take action on, and experience. As a large and active institution, the University of Waterloo has much to explore. New employee orientation has been designed to help you develop a clearer understanding of the places, spaces, and experiences that make up the University of Waterloo.

Through an engaging and interactive morning together, where you will meet other new employees and representatives from across the University, we aim to create a helpful, foundational understanding of the University.

This half-day event aims to connect the dots between you and the history, culture, organization, priorities, services, opportunities, and resources that make the University of Waterloo an exciting place to work.  Get to know what it means to be an employee at one of Canada's top universities and enrich your employee experience with all that is available to you.
