Do you need help with Workday? Human Resources will be visiting each faculty to to assist with onboarding for new student hires (co-ops and graduate research/graduate teaching assistants) and any inquiries related to the system. Drop by our Pop-up between 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. for assistance.
All new graduate student employees will be required to complete the onboarding process in Workday, which includes setting up banking information for direct deposit. The onboarding process needs to be completed as soon as possible to ensure that pay can be issued at the end of each month. Staff performance appraisal season is now upon us. Please ensure that you review, document and discuss your performance for 2018 with your manager. Your performance appraisal should include a meaningful discussion that highlights your accomplishments and goals. Performance appraisals are due March 15, 2019.
Time entry and manager approval of time must be completed in Workday by end of day Monday, January 14th in order to be paid on Friday, January 18th.
Workday, the new HR system for the University of Waterloo launched on Monday. After 18 months of efforts by more than 40 staff from both Human Resources and Information Systems & Technology, employees at Waterloo will now have access to the new HR system, Workday.
