Workshop Overview:
As members of the University of Waterloo community, we constantly support our students, colleagues,and each other as we strive to uphold the university’s mission and values. We are constantly navigating the unknowns and the changing environment of work.Helping others can provide a great deal of satisfaction, but it can also, at times, be stressful and overwhelming.
In this workshop, we will learn the qualities and behaviours of compassion while developing strategies to manage stress. We will create a plan to help us stay well while helping others – together, we will rise to meet this challenge.
Learning Outcomes:

Identify the qualities and behaviours associated with the over- and under-expression of compassion

Name at least 3 new strategies to help your better manage your compassion
