Prevalence of E-cigarette Use

In 2018-19, 21.0% of Canadian students in grades 7-9 reported having ever tried an e-cigarette (either with or without nicotine), significantly greater than the 2016-17 prevalence of 12.6%.145
Past 30-day use of e-cigarettes was 11.1% in 2018-19, which was also significantly greater than the 2016-17 prevalence of 5.4%.146 Daily/almost daily use was reported by 3.1% of students in grades 7-9.
