Overall, significantly more males (88.3%a) than females (78.3%b) used an e-liquid with nicotine in the past 30 days.137

As shown in Figure 11.31, among non-smokers, significantly more males (90.4%) than females (78.9%), used e-cigarettes containing nicotine.138

Although more male smokers (84.9%) used e-cigarettes containing nicotine, compared to female smokers (77.1%), this difference was not statistically significant.139
