The Faculty of Mathematics Research Office recently announced its 2021 recipients of the Golden Jubilee Research Excellence Award. Eduardo Martin-Martinez, an associate professor in applied mathematics, was one of this year’s winners.
Quantum Benchmark, a Kitchener-based company providing software solutions for error suppression and performance validation in quantum computing hardware, was acquired by Keysight Technologies in May 2021. Quantum Benchmark was founded by Applied Mathematics professor Joseph Emerson.
