2017 Visiting Artist Lecture Series: Soheila Esfahani

Soheila Esfahani is a Waterloo Fine Arts alumna (BA 2003). Her current art practice navigates the terrains of cultural translation and draws on her experience of living in both Western and Eastern (Iranian) cultures.  Her work is represented in public and private collections including the Canada Council’s Art Bank. She was nominated for the Jameel Prize at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, UK in 2015.

Soheila is also a lecturer in the Studies in Islam program at Renison College.
