The plaque acknowledges that the University of Waterloo – and specifically the Federation of Students’ operations at the SLC – is situated on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishnawbe and Haudenosaunee peoples.

1:30pm - The Land Acknowledgment Ceremony will include traditional songs and a few words from Feds, WAEC, ASA, Waterloo President Feridun Hamdullahpur and local MP Bardish Chagger.
2:00pm - Reception at The Bombshelter Pub.
