recognition
of
National
Aboriginal
History
Month,
Feds
is
holding
a
special
event
in
collaboration
with
the
Waterloo
Aboriginal
Education
Centre
(WAEC)
and
Waterloo's
Aboriginal
Students
Association
(ASA)
to
mark
the
installation
of
a
land
acknowledgement
plaque
at
the
Student
Life
Centre
(SLC).
All
members
of
the
Waterloo
community
are
invited
to
join.
The
plaque
acknowledges
that
the
University
of
Waterloo
–
and
specifically
the
Federation
of
Students’
operations
at
the
SLC
–
is
situated
on
the
traditional
territory
of
the
Neutral,
Anishnawbe
and
Haudenosaunee
peoples.

and

words
from
Feds,
WAEC,
ASA,
