The Future of Historical Studies: A Symposium in Honour of James W. St. G. Walker

Saturday, November 11, 2017 9:00 am - 5:00 pm EST (GMT -05:00)

James Walker
The Department of History presents a one-day symposium to honour the scholarship of James Walker, as well as show the ways in which his teaching and his research has influenced the field of historical studies.

Invited former students of Jim's will speak about their current research; some are students who continued in academia, while others have gone to work in other sectors but continue to research in the fields of human rights, ethnic histories, and humanitarianism more broadly.

The symposium is open to anyone interested, and people are welcome to come for the day or drop in to sessions they find interesting.
