Workshop description

As a teaching assistant, it is essential to establish a positive relationship with the course instructor. In online and blended courses, ongoing communication between members of the teaching team is especially important. This workshop will discuss strategies for various course modalities (in-person, online, and blended). Topics will include tips for success as a TA and suggestions for how TAs and instructors can communicate effectively before and during the term. We will also discuss various rapport-building strategies that you can adapt as a TA.
