It can be exciting to design your own course, but where do you start? In this half-day workshop, we’ll guide you through the planning process to help you design a course focused on student learning. You’ll begin aligning your course learning goals, assessments, and teaching strategies, all within the context of the course, your students, and yourself as an instructor. You’ll also get feedback on your ideas from your peers.
Please complete the required pre-workshop activity detailed in Waterloo LEARN at least three business days in advance of the workshop.
- Registration is required. CTE has a new registration system called GoSignMeUp. Before you can register for a workshop, you need to create an account (one time only). Once you’ve created an account, you can register for this workshop.
- Registration is limited to CUT participants enrolled in GS901.
- A response paper is required following the workshop.
Many of our workshops have waiting lists, so if you've registered but can't attend, please cancel your registration well in advance through the registration system, so that someone else can fill your spot.
