Description
Please note: this workshop is intended for INSTRUCTORS that will be using peerScholar in the upcoming term.
This two-hour, in-person session will introduce you to peerScholar, uWaterloo's centrally supported peer review and group member evaluation tool.
peerScholaris a peer review (& group member evaluation) tool that allow customization in how you have students review one another’s work. There are three phases in a peerScholar assignment:
-
Create phase - students submit work,
-
Assess phase - students evaluate peer work and provide feedback, and
-
Reflect phase - students reflect on the feedback and can evaluate that feedback and/or revise and resubmit their work within peerScholar.
For a high-level overview of what peerScholar is and what it does, view this peerScholar promotional video. (1:55)
