Wellbeing and Engagement in Engineering Classrooms: Early Research Results (CTE7028)

Wednesday, October 18, 2023 10:30 am - 11:30 am EDT (GMT -04:00)

Location: Online

Facilitator: Jennifer Ellingham

Description

Join Jennifer Ellingham, MME, to hear preliminary results of her investigations into the effectiveness of comparatively simple activities that may improve the undergraduate engineering student experience. Ellingham undertook to test whether regular student feedback, individual goal setting, and self-reflection would improve the students' experience. The presentation will include what works well, what doesn't, and what should be considered more widely in undergraduate programs.
