CTE recently held its inaugural Instructional Innovations Week! In support of teaching as an ever-evolving practice, we held workshops related to the core themes of Scholarship of Teaching & Learning, EdTech and Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI), Student Engagement and Wellness, and Sustainability.
This first Instructional Innovations Week had a total of 134 participants engaging in the 13 workshops hosted during the week. Attendees were invited to explore a wide range of topics which provided insight on innovative teaching techniques, classroom tools, and ways to deal with the ever-changing teaching landscape.
CTE would like to express our deep gratitude to our wonderful guest speakers who contributed their insights and expertise on teaching. Thank you to Brandon DeHart, Thorsten Dieckmann, Jennifer Ellingham, Lai-Tze Fan, Leeann Ferries, Michael Glazryn, Rob Hill, Laura Ingram, Greta Kroeker, Lynn Long, Michèle Martin, Anton Mosunov, Madeleine Noble, Daniel Opperwall, Gavin Orok, Katherine Perrott, Reem Roufail, Steffanie Scott, Jennifer Yessis, and Will Zhao.
