Description

  • This project will document climate pedagogy practices being used by post-secondary instructors and investigate supports needed by instructors to engage students and help them develop a sense of agency.
    • A Climate Pedagogy Symposium on May 15th, 2024 will bring together 60 instructors from UWaterloo, Laurier, and Conestoga College, providing an opportunity to gather information and stories from participants about their efforts, barriers and ways forward.
    • Following the symposium, follow up interviews with selected participants will provide further insights into how to support and advance climate pedagogy across diverse disciplines at UWaterloo and Waterloo Region more broadly.
