Workshop Overview
More than ever, strategies for coping with stress, managing your wellbeing, and creating healthy habits are needed. Are you feeling ready to make actionable changes to your habits?
The goal of Deep Health: Small Group Coaching is to support and educate the university community in improving individual wellbeing. This 10-week program aims to bring people together in conversation to focus on their individual health. Health coaching will help you establish, or fine-tune behaviors and habits related to sleep, stress management, nutrition, physical activity, recovery, and more.
The primary theme for fall 2025’s coaching: Physical activity and stress management
This program will allow you to focus on what you need most at this moment of your life. Are you struggling to get movement in? Is stress consuming you? This program uses your strengths to build a skillset you can apply towards healthy and fulfilling life. You will set your own goals and receive guidance throughout your journey. Want to change but aren’t sure if you’re ready? Still come join us to explore the possibilities!
While not a requirement, it is strongly recommended that you have attended the Deep Health: Setting the Foundation workshop in advance.
Program
- The group will meet bi-weekly (virtually) with bi-weekly personal email/Teams check-ins.
- The first and last meetings will be in person and will include light, inclusive physical activity to kick things off. During the first meeting, time will be spent sharing your goals for the program and establishing an individual plan.
- The last week will be a celebration of learnings and achievements.
The virtual meetings will provide opportunities for coaching and sharing small wins. While each bi-weekly check-in will have some structure, they will remain adaptive and flexible to address the group's needs. Full attendance and participation are strongly recommended to provide you with the greatest amount of support and accountability. However, if full participation is not possible, you will be welcomed and supported at any level of participation.
