Wednesday, March 4, 2026 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm EST (GMT -05:00)Workshop Overview
As flexible and hybrid work takes shape in practice this year, meaningful dialogue – not guidelines alone – will determine how well teams adapt, collaborate, and thrive. Making Flexibility Work: Conversations that Matter is an interactive workshop designed to equip people leaders with the skills, tools, and shared language needed to navigate shifting expectations with clarity, trust, and connection.
Building on our Fall workshop offerings that focused on Leading and Succeeding with Flexibility, this session continues to deepen our shared understanding of what effective flexibility requires in practice. Through guided dialogue, reflective activities, and practical frameworks such as the Circles of Influence, participants will explore how flexibility shows up in their roles, within their teams, and across the University. Together, we’ll examine common challenges, uncover opportunities, and strengthen confidence in having conversations that promote autonomy, equity, and shared success.
By the end of the session, participants will leave with strategies to engage in open, constructive conversations and set clear expectations, while balancing individual needs with team and organizational priorities.
