The employee benefits offered by the University of Waterloo are designed to provide you with security and contribute to your health and well-being, as well as that of your family.

If you are a new hire, you may be eligible for benefits depending on your employment status. Your dependents, including your spouse and children, may also be eligible for benefits through your employment.

Waterloo's comprehensive benefits package is complemented by several University resources, such as:

The Pension & Benefits Committee administers the employee pension plan and benefits plans approved by the Board of Governors. The committee delegates day-to-day administration of the Pension Plan and benefits plans to the Human Resources department of the University.
