Congratulations to Dr. Myra Fernandes who has been selected as the incoming Governing Board Chair of the Psychonomic Society! The Psychonomic Society is the preeminent international society for the experimental study of cognition and has over 4,300 scientist members.
The University of Waterloo was one of the first in Canada to have its own in-house training facility for their clinical psychology PhD program. Today, the Centre for Mental Health Research and Treatment celebrates 10 years of excellence in research, practice and treatment services on campus and in the regional community.

The Psychology Department is a proud participant in the UWaterloo Green Office Initiative. As of March 13, 2017, Psychology has become a Bronze Certified Green Office, and is the first UWaterloo academic department to receive this certification.
