The University of Waterloo has been ranked #1 in Canada and #13 in the world for subjects related to hospitality and tourism management, according to the 2024 Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) University Subject Rankings.
Waterloo has earned the #1 spot in Canada for subjects related to hospitality and tourism management consecutively since 2017.
The rankings evaluated 55 subject areas across 1,900 universities in 96 countries based on research output, research influence, international collaboration, research quality and academic awards. The University of Waterloo is listed among the top 200 universities globally for 39 of the 55 specific disciplines measured.
