Information for

Alumni and friends

Members of class of 73 at reunion banquet.

Recreation and Leisure Studies alumni from the Class of '73 gather at reunion banquet.

We value your involvement as alumni, whether attending events, hiring a co-op student, mentoring our current students or making a financial investment in the Department of Recreation and Leisure Studies. Without your engagement and support, we couldn’t continue to push boundaries, make new discoveries and inspire the next generation.

The Faculty of Applied Health Sciences Office of Alumni Affairs provides many services to alumni, including

  • Alumni news and events
  • Alumni awards
  • Alumni profiles
  • Services and benefits
  • How to get/stay involved with the University

For more information on any of the above, visit the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences Alumni and Friends website.

Distinguished Alumni Award

The Recreation and Leisure Studies Distinguished Alumni Awards were established to commemorate the department's 40th anniversary.

We look forward to celebrating the department's 50th anniversary in 2017-2018.
