Teaching interests
My philosophy of teaching fits well with the constructivist theory of learning, acknowledging learning as an active process in which students learn to think critically about the content and consider the ways they can integrate this into their future roles as practitioners. Having been a practitioner, I like to share the passion I have for therapeutic recreation and the many opportunities we have to make a significant difference in individuals' lives.
