Academics at university can be complex but there are many resources to help. There are workshops, one-on-one sessions, online quizzes, email tutoring, and much more. And remember you can always ask your instructor or TA if you are unsure about any of the course policies.
Policy 71 Allegations
Students – Meeting requests and responses to allegation emails
Please email adartsug@uwaterloo.ca to respond to an allegation email, whether you are requesting a meeting, accepting an allegation, or just have questions. The date and time of your email will confirm you have contacted us within the deadline. If you are contacting us when the University is closed (weekends, holidays, etc.), we will respond as soon as we can when the University reopens.
Students – Grades
UR grades
- If there is a grade of UR on a course it means this grade is currently under review. The UR grade will not stop you from enrolling or participating in other courses. You should proceed as usual for the next term.
No grade
- If there is currently no grade for a course it either means that the grade has not yet been finalized and uploaded, or it is under review and the UR grade has not yet been added. This will be cleared up as soon as possible. You should proceed as usual for the next term.
If you have not already received an email from our office, we will contact you soon to let you know how to proceed.
Note that not all grades will be available at the same time.
Students – Academic support
If you have questions about your courses or academics you should speak to your academic advisor.
Students – Non-academic support
The Campus Wellness website has information for students in Ontario but can also help direct you if you are not in the province.
Further supports available for students:
International students may wish to contact the Student Success Office if you have questions about visas or other related matters.
