As a key component of our health and wellbeing, mental health has a significant impact on how we think, act and feel. Stressful life events including the COVID-19 pandemic can have adverse reactions on our mental health.

  • How has the COVID-19 pandemic affected the mental health and well-being of graduate students and our society?
  • How can we tell if our mental health is shifting from a lace of wellness to an area of concern?
  • How can we cope in ways that promote positive mental health, and prevent the onset or exacerbation of mental health difficulties?

Join us for Mental Health 101, a presentation provided by clinical psychology graduate students from the University of Waterloo's Centre for Mental Health Research and Treatment. This talk will review key elements for monitoring and maintaining mental health, as well as provide strategies and resources to cope with a range of mental health concerns.

Contact your graduate coordinator for online workshop details, including the link for access.
