Waterloo's Centre for Theoretical Neuroscience invites everyone to an open house, the culmination of a two-week workshop that teaches researchers how to build sophisticated brain models. These international experts will demonstrate large-scale brain models running on laptops, robots, and specialized brain-like computers while simulating neural functions.

Join community members at the Waterloo Stratford Campus, on National Aboriginal Day, to learn more about Indigenous experiences and how community education provides opportunity for positive impact. The Stratford Public Library and University of Waterloo welcome Lori Campbell, Director of the Waterloo Aboriginal Education Centre.

In recognition of National Aboriginal History Month, Feds is holding a special event in collaboration with the Waterloo Aboriginal Education Centre (WAEC) and Waterloo's Aboriginal Students Association (ASA) to mark the installation of a land acknowledgement plaque at the Student Life Centre (SLC). Join us as we look at how to recognize depression and anxiety, why these conditions can stay with people for so long, and what can be done about them.
