Why did you choose the University of Waterloo? University of Waterloo has a lot to offer, with their co-op program, huge campus, and supportive staff - it felt like the best fit for me as an international student. UW keeps the students motivated, and provides assistance for more than just academics.

What do you like most about your program? The flexibility that ARBUS offers makes it the perfect fit for me. I am able to study Economics and business, but at the same time - I add courses related to - for example: world peace. In addition to that, the range of jobs that the co-op program that the Faculty of Arts offers allows me to move between say a technical job to an analyst job easily. i.e. there is no limitations for job opportunities in the Faculty of Arts

Co-op experience/what you like about co-op at Waterloo? Co-op for me has been an amazing experience. It is not just about making money, but for an international student like me - getting exposure to big companies in Canada is the perfect way for me to embed myself in the country. Working at big corporations like: OLG, Loblaws, and Sunlife Financials through the University recruitment program has given me the confidence, and the ability to be a part of the Canadian work culture smoothly.
