Campus closure updates:

  • All face-to-face CTE programs are cancelled, postponed, or moving online until the end of the Winter term (at minimum). Consultations will continue. 
  • CTE has developed resources to help instructors continue teaching their courses online during the campus closure: uwaterloo.ca/keep-learning.

Description

The Educational Technologies (EdTech) Community of Practice aims to provide instructors with the opportunity to connect with peers to share examples, experiences, ideas, and best practices around all kinds of educational technologies.

This community of practice will have a blended format combining both face-to-face and online opportunities to connect. 

The initial face-to face meeting will take place on Monday, November 25, 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. in MC2036This initial meeting will also be an opportunity to provide input into the Community of Practice as it forms.  We would like to hear your thoughts about how this Community of Practice can benefit you most.

Registration

Registration is required. CTE has a new registration system called GoSignMeUp. Before you can register for a workshop, you need to create an account (one time only). Once you've created an account, you can register for this workshop.

Cancellations

Many of our workshops have waiting lists, so if you've registered but can't attend, please cancel your registration well in advance through the registration system, so that someone else can fill your spot.
