Unlock the potential of your classroom with our engaging workshop on Active Learning! Designed for educators seeking to enhance student engagement and retention, this session will delve into the literature on active learning and explore a variety of active learning techniques that foster a dynamic learning environment. Participants will have opportunities to share with each other about how they are integrating active learning into their own classes.

By the end of this interactive workshop participants will be able to:

  • Define what active learning is.
  • Explain the benefits and limitations of active learning.
  • Develop active learning exercises that can be applied in their teaching to enhance student engagement and learning.

Many of our workshops have waiting lists, so if you've registered but can't attend, please cancel your registration well in advance through the registration system, so that someone else can fill your spot.
